Shop Sliuet seamless panties — laser cut briefs with bonded edges instead of elastic, so nothing prints through fitted skirts or white trousers.
The visible panty line is not caused by underwear being too small. It is caused by the elastic. A conventional brief has a folded band sewn around the waist and both legs, and that band is thicker than the fabric on either side of it, so it prints. These do not have one.
The edges are laser cut and bonded — the fabric is sealed at the cut rather than hemmed, leaving a flat scalloped finish barely thicker than the panel itself. No stitching, no folded elastic, no ridge. Under a fitted skirt or a slip dress you see nothing.
Mid to high rise, sitting at or just under the navel, with full coverage at the back. The rise is deliberate: a low seamless brief rolls down under high-waist trousers, and a rolled edge prints worse than the elastic you were trying to avoid.
A smooth four-way stretch microfibre with a soft matte face. It moves with you rather than gripping, and it dries fast. There is a cotton-lined gusset.
This is the part most people get wrong. Under white or cream clothing, white underwear shows as a bright patch — a shade close to your own skin tone disappears instead. That is what Beige and Dark Brown are for. Black and Olive are for everything darker.
Bonded edges are strong but they are not stitching — they fail from heat, not from wear. Keep these out of the tumble dryer entirely and never iron them; a hot dryer is what makes a seamless brief start peeling at the leg opening after a few months. Wash cold in a mesh bag and air dry, and they last as long as any stitched pair.
Seamless microfibre is less breathable than cotton. For all-day wear in heat, or overnight, cotton is the better choice — these are for the outfits that need them.
