Bloomfield Floral Print Panties

The prints
All four are ditsy florals — small, densely scattered flowers rather than a large placed motif. Small prints are the practical choice here, because they read as texture from a distance and do not distort as the fabric stretches over the hip.
Two trims
- Black — a dark floral centre panel set between sheer black lace side panels, with a lace waistband. The most going-out of the four.
- Ivory frill — the yellow, pink and blue florals sit on an ivory ground and are edged with a fine gathered frill at both leg openings and the waist.
The cut
Low to mid rise with a bikini leg line — narrower at the hip than a full brief, still with real coverage at the back. Soft stretch knit with a cotton gusset.

Worth knowing before you buy
The frill and the lace are the parts that fail first, and they fail in the wash, not on the body. Use a mesh bag — a frill caught on a zip or a hook comes out pulled and does not go back. Wash cold; the ivory ground will pick up dye from dark laundry and grey off permanently, so keep these with lights.
Note that a printed brief is visible under thin white or pale clothing in a way a plain one is not. If you need invisible, that is a different pair.

- Wash with lights — do not mix with dark laundry
- Do not bleach
- Air dry — heat shrinks the frill and stiffens the lace
- Do not iron the trim
